![]() So the proper tactic is to accept the mission, even with rookies only if needed. It isn't a game-ending thing unless you have a facility you need to assault asap in that region, but still it is a consequence. You will lose contact with the region if you skip a Supply Raid (also if you skip Council missions or Retaliations). If you really don't like them, just skip them, there's no repercussions for not doing a supply raid. ![]() So, could anybody recommend which mod I should use, to make this mission either require TWO WHOLE TURNS for me to reach a crate before it's stolen, or, make them less frequent? I am not really into mods and it sounds like XCOM2 mods are kinda obnoxious since you have to muss around with alternative launchers and junk, but these missions are such bullcrud that I sometimes just reload to geoscape and restart the mission until I get an alternative type, because it's basically not possible to rescue more than 1-3 crates even on a really simple mission with very very few enemies (let alone having 60 enemies). And the entire time I'm having crates literally 3+ turns out of range being marked and picked up by the enemy! I had no problems surviving the mission and killing everything however, I'm really, really tired of this specific mission asking me to go in and recover supplies and then I get a 1-turn window to run in and mark a crate, which is almost always either outside of Dash+Bond-bonus-action range, or simply is in the middle of a fight and the enemy throws a grenade or flamethrows it, etc. I just tok a mission which, as always, asks me to go in and mark as many of 12 crates as I can, the mission was marked "MODERATE" and I ended up fighting off 59 enemies including the giant robot etc. I am not one to complain however, these supply drop missions seem pretty badly balanced.
